Main Ingredients
- Tamanu Oil
Tamanu Oil is one ingredient I have been wanting to try since long. The first time I heard about this was when my favourite influencer and beauty founder Liah Yoo raved about this oil. Tamanu oil is recognized for its calming and healing properties. Make p:rem sources their Tamanu Oil from Madagascar known as the source for quality and pure Tamanu products. Tamanu oil found in this serum has been extracted via the cold press method ensuring all the vital compounds stays intact.
- Hyaluronic Acids
A multi-layer approach was taken by Credithink and make p:rem to use 6 different kinds of hyaluronic acids. Multiple hyaluronic acids with different weights and sizes were used so that they can penetrate into multiple layers of skin.
- Botanics
Leaf extracts of Ginkgo Bilob, Camelia Sinesis, Camelia Japonica, Eruca Stivia, Triticum Vulgare, Brassica Oleracea Italica and Lepidium Sativum plants were used in this product because they work well with Tamanu oil and Hyaluronic Acids plus they provide amazing benefits.
Texture, Consistency & Smell
The serum itself has a beautiful opaque avocado green color. The consistency of this serum is surely thicker than all the serums I have used previously. It has a very creamy texture but it is not as thick as an actual cream. When applied on the skin the serum gets absorbed pretty quickly. It doesn't feel oily or sticky at all. This serum does have a strong herbal smell which everyone might not like but when applied on skin you can't really smell it as it goes away quickly. Usually, products with a strong smell irritates my eyes but the smell of this serum doesn't irritate my eyes at all.
Overall Review
I have been using this product for a while now to form this opinion. This serum has essential oils in it so I would recommend you to patch test the product first. As my skin is really dry, I love the hydration this serum provides to my skin making my skin look smooth and feel soft.
I have also noticed that this serum soothes down my sensitive skin pretty quickly. It helps in toning down the redness of my cheeks as well. Overall I am loving this serum and will continue using it throughout winters for hydration.
